Question:
I love the idea of signing up with eknowhow Accounting and getting all the great benefits.

I am concerned about the contract period being 24 months - what happens if I retire for health reasons or sell the practice before the contract ends?

Answer:

This is a reasonable concern.

Our contract states that if you wish to cancel at any stage, you simply need to give us 30 days notice in writing and pay 50% of the remaining money owed.

As it takes us 12 months to break even on a sale, it is not worth our while to do have contracts less than 24 months.

You have the option of selling your website if you wish (in the event you sell your company), the new owner would have to pay for a redesign which is $400.

You are able to assign (sell) your agreement under special circumstances, such as closing your business, instead of paying out the remainder; this means the new owner would simply pay out the remainder of the contract.
