Question: What are the software requirements for a user to enable them to login, esp. with regard to Browser setup, cookies, software firewalls etc? Answer:
1. We recommend IE 6 or Netscape 6+ for the best experience
2. The client will need to have per session cookies enabled.
a. Go to Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet options > Security
b. Select "Override automatic cookie handling" and set:
First-part: Accept Third party Block Always allow session cookies: checked
3. They will also need "Display mixed content" if they are using an SSL enabled site.
a. Go to Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet options > Security > Custom level
4. They will also need to allow popups.
a. Popups are allowed by default but some products (Norton internet security, popup blocker, google toolbar) stop these.
